From Start to End of our day, we are surrounded by only one thing and that is Technology, the very first thing that 90% of people do after waking up is scroll through social media apps, or put their mobile on a charge, and things like that. In 24 hours, we use nearly more than 20 technological devices like mobiles, tablets, TVs, computers, laptops, ACs, Smart lights, Cars, Motorcycles, IoTs, etc.
Technology is basically nothing but the combination of art skills, thinking skills, curiosity, and obviously technical stuff. Technology has been there for more than 2 million years, at that time, people used to create handmade tools using stones and various other things and over time it has evolved, fire-based tools were made then electricity was invented after that starts the fastest evolution of Real Technology which includes Electrification then invention of computers, Supercomputers, Laptops, mobiles, AI, ML, and slowly-slowly, in each and everything technology has been integrated, manual work was reduced and people started losing their jobs.
But, then with the passage of time, technological involvement has increased soo much that we can't survive without it and because of that the need of skilled and talented people like Experts in Technology, Engineers, Developes, Content Creators, Designers, Creative Thinkers, etc has increased way too much. In today's date there is no job where we don't have to use any technological component. Each and everything is associated with Technology.
You wont belive that Art Students are Teaching web Developmet to Engineers, many Art Students are persuing BCA and MCA as a side carrier. Apart from all these, almost every student, teacher, professional is trying learn new skills related to technology including science, arts, development, cooking, machines, using web, etc to stay updated in this fast and agile world.
From all of the above, its very clear that Technology is Present and Technology is Future, without technology, its impossible to do anything today. Humans are getting day by day dependent on tech gadgets and in market everyday a new tech gadegt is released and apart from that every year or in even less than that, new things are created, new technologies are being developed, more automation, more innovations in every filed especially in tech field.
So having good understanding of technology that we are using is great, even though some says that, we are users and why should we understand the working of this thing or that thing, but understanding technology not means that you have to understand its working, rather it means that you should know how to use it, how to get comfortable with updates and changes and also how to use that for increased productivity.
Technology looks like a small word but if we go in-depth its actually larger than Universe.
Having sound knowledge of one programming language like python or C++ is really appriacited because with programming languages we can automate our stuff on our wish and the way we want also knowledge of Ms Word, Ms Excel, etc is also important in Professional life.
So all in all, to survive in this world, having knowledge of coding, software, IoTs, etc is important.
We should know about not only for further development or only to increase our productivity but also, to stay safe and well informed, because we know that more technological advancement will rise more technological crimes i.e e-crimes and to face that and be safe from that we should keep on updating ourselves with latest technologies, methodologies and should try to avoid making ourselves too much comfortable with existing technology as it may change anytime.
So, Tech is the Future and we are the generations that are going to lead Tech further so having good knowledge of tech is very important, if we have really good knowledge of technology, that we can fix its dark side the challenges that we are facing, it's very much possible while fixing the dark sides, we may come up with our own technologies.
